10. ALFRED CHARLES SMITH Born 25th July 1875 at Penge Kent . He married ADA in 1897 at Bromley and in 1901 they were staying with Ada’s parents at 7 East Street Bromley. He was a Bricklayer’s Labourer. By the 1911 census he had become a fireman and was staying at the fire station in Bromley. He was given the British Empire Medal for his services to the Fire Brigade.
